Last weekend badminton player from Paris joined us for few games of badminton. Anastasia Rouxel plays for Racing club de France in Paris and is a rgistered player of French badminton association. She was visiting Zadar with her mother and like many badminton players wanted to play Badminton even on travel.
Simple google search led her to Badminton Zadar. When she contacted us, we were still in lockdown with no visibility as to when will we open again. Thankfully by the time she came, halls were open again in Zadar and we could welcome her.
To ensure that our guest had some competitive games and return home with some good memories, we had to arrange 3 players to come on the only possible time when she could visit us. Many thanks to Željko Radovčić, Marino Marčina and Vito Ivanešević to find time and agreed to play for that session.
Attached pictures, shows that they all enjoyed the games together. Even though our special player Vito is still recovering from his injuries and has not played for a long time, he slowly got into rythm and managed to create few good games along with some light moments with is partner on court.
After games, we spent some time drinking coffee and sharing some cultural experiences. We are really happy that Anastasia visited us and we hope she enjoyed her time on the court as well. We always welcome all badminton players and try to accomodate as much as we can to bring variety of players in Zadar and also add badminton in Zadar’s life other than beaches and boat tours.
We wish Anastasia good luck and hope she keeps on playing and maybe visit us once again some time.
